Uber driver and courier deactivation appeals
Deactivation takes away income overnight. Uber offers a review route for many deactivations, and some cities and states now give app-based drivers specific deactivation rights. We help you use both.

Why Uber suspends accounts
Common triggers we see in Uber cases:
- Background or motor vehicle record check results
- Identity check failures (Real-Time ID Check)
- Fraud flags on trips or deliveries
- Safety reports and low ratings
What your Uber notice usually means
“Your account has been deactivated”
Access is removed. The app or email usually describes whether a review is available.
Wording varies. Search more phrases in the Suspension Notice Decoder.
The official route
- Request the reason and any review option through the app or Greenlight support.
- For background checks, obtain the report and dispute errors with the screening company.
- Check local deactivation rights where you drive.
Evidence that carries weight
- Screening report and dispute outcome
- Trip records and screenshots
- Dashcam footage where relevant
What we prepare for your Uber case
You receive
- Written diagnosis of your Uber notice and the policy it cites
- Root cause statement drawn from your own account data
- Evidence gap list and document consistency check
- Appeal or Plan of Action text written for the Uber reviewer
- Submission guidance and follow-up reply drafts
What we cannot do
- Reinstate the account ourselves: only Uber can make that decision
- Supply, edit or source documents, or describe fixes that have not happened
- Help you open a new account or get around enforcement
How the case runs
Diagnose
Read the notice, the policy it cites and your account data until the real cause is clear.
Evidence
Build a document pack the platform can verify: nothing padded, nothing altered.
Appeal
One precise, factual submission through the official route, written to what was asked.
Protect
Keep the account healthy after the decision and release funds where they are held.
Uber reinstatement FAQs
Do local laws affect Uber deactivations?
Some do. Jurisdictions including Seattle and Minnesota have introduced deactivation protections for app-based drivers. Check the rules where you drive and consider local legal aid or driver organizations.
Can I dispute a background check that led to a Uber deactivation?
Yes. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act you can get a copy of a consumer report used against you and dispute inaccurate information with the screening company. A corrected report is strong appeal evidence.
What evidence helps most in a Uber deactivation appeal?
Records created at the time: trip or order history, timestamps, delivery photos, GPS data and message logs. They let the reviewer follow what actually happened.
Do local laws affect Uber deactivations?
They can. Some cities and states give app-based workers specific deactivation rights. Local driver organizations and legal aid groups can advise on how they apply where you work.
Are you affiliated with Uber?
No. We are an independent case preparation service. We have no special access to Uber, no internal contacts, and we do not claim otherwise. Every submission goes through the official route Uber provides to account holders.
Can you guarantee my Uber account will be reinstated?
No one can honestly guarantee a platform decision. What we control is the quality of the diagnosis, the evidence and the written response. We tell you at the review stage if we think the case is weak, and why.
How long does Uber take to review an appeal?
Uber sets its own review times and they vary with the case type and volume. What we control is preparation: our initial analysis is completed within 24 to 48 hours of intake once we have your notice and documents.
Can I appeal to Uber myself instead of using a service?
Yes. Every account holder can use the official route, and our guides explain how. People come to us when the stakes are high, when appeals are limited, or when a first appeal has already been rejected and they need to know what was missing.
What should I send you to start a Uber case?
The full notice text, screenshots of the account status, any appeals already sent and the replies, and the records that relate to the issue. Never send passwords or one-time codes: we do not need them.
My Uber appeal was already rejected. Is it too late?
Not always. A rejection tells you what the reviewer did not accept. We read it against the original notice and your data to find the gap, and we tell you honestly whether a further submission is worth making.
Will you log in to my Uber account?
We prefer not to. New logins from unfamiliar locations can trigger further security flags. You stay in control and submit through your own account while we guide each step.
