Meta ad account and Business Portfolio restrictions
Meta restricts advertising at several levels: ad accounts, Pages, people and Business Portfolios. The fix starts with finding which asset is restricted and why.
- Independent: not affiliated with any platform
- Confidential from the first message
- Honest about the odds
Why Meta Ads suspends accounts
Common triggers we see in Meta Ads cases:
- Advertising Standards violations
- Suspicious payment or login activity
- An admin's personal profile being restricted
- Unverified business or identity
What your Meta Ads notice usually means
“Your ad account is restricted”
Ads stop. Account Quality shows the reason and whether a review can be requested.
“Your ability to advertise has been restricted”
The restriction is on a person, which affects every account they manage.
Wording varies. Search more phrases in the Suspension Notice Decoder.
The official route
- Open Account Quality and map each restricted asset.
- Resolve the root cause, such as a restricted admin or unverified business.
- Request review for each asset where the option is offered.
Evidence that carries weight
- Business verification documents
- Ad creative and landing page records
- Payment method ownership
What we prepare for your Meta Ads case
You receive
- Written diagnosis of your Meta Ads notice and the policy it cites
- Root cause statement drawn from your own account data
- Evidence gap list and document consistency check
- Appeal or Plan of Action text written for the Meta Ads reviewer
- Submission guidance and follow-up reply drafts
What we cannot do
- Reinstate the account ourselves: only Meta Ads can make that decision
- Supply, edit or source documents, or describe fixes that have not happened
- Help you open a new account or get around enforcement
How the case runs
Diagnose
Read the notice, the policy it cites and your account data until the real cause is clear.
Evidence
Build a document pack the platform can verify: nothing padded, nothing altered.
Appeal
One precise, factual submission through the official route, written to what was asked.
Protect
Keep the account healthy after the decision and release funds where they are held.
Meta Ads reinstatement FAQs
Should I remove the restricted admin from the Business Portfolio?
Sometimes that is the right move, but it can also remove the person best placed to appeal. We look at the whole structure first.
Will my Meta Ads ads or earnings resume immediately after reinstatement?
Often, but not always. Campaigns, feeds or ad serving may need to be re-enabled and re-reviewed. Earnings linked to invalid activity can remain withheld.
Why should I fix my website before appealing to Meta Ads?
Reviewers check what they can see: landing pages, business details, policies and traffic. An appeal that describes fixes not yet live is one of the most common reasons for rejection.
Can an agency or another user's history affect my Meta Ads account?
Yes. Shared users, payment methods and domains can link accounts. Suspensions for circumventing systems often come from those links rather than your own ads.
Are you affiliated with Meta Ads?
No. We are an independent case preparation service. We have no special access to Meta Ads, no internal contacts, and we do not claim otherwise. Every submission goes through the official route Meta Ads provides to account holders.
Can you guarantee my Meta Ads account will be reinstated?
No one can honestly guarantee a platform decision. What we control is the quality of the diagnosis, the evidence and the written response. We tell you at the review stage if we think the case is weak, and why.
How long does Meta Ads take to review an appeal?
Meta Ads sets its own review times and they vary with the case type and volume. What we control is preparation: our initial analysis is completed within 24 to 48 hours of intake once we have your notice and documents.
Can I appeal to Meta Ads myself instead of using a service?
Yes. Every account holder can use the official route, and our guides explain how. People come to us when the stakes are high, when appeals are limited, or when a first appeal has already been rejected and they need to know what was missing.
What should I send you to start a Meta Ads case?
The full notice text, screenshots of the account status, any appeals already sent and the replies, and the records that relate to the issue. Never send passwords or one-time codes: we do not need them.
My Meta Ads appeal was already rejected. Is it too late?
Not always. A rejection tells you what the reviewer did not accept. We read it against the original notice and your data to find the gap, and we tell you honestly whether a further submission is worth making.
Will you log in to my Meta Ads account?
We prefer not to. New logins from unfamiliar locations can trigger further security flags. You stay in control and submit through your own account while we guide each step.
